“Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.” Psalms 112:4.
There is a way I want you to understand this verse. Read the part after darkness first. So it will read this way, “The righteous man is gracious and full of compassion”. You know why? It is because light always comes to him in every dark situation.
The man who loves the Lord has a covenant with God to always receive light. So when there is recession in the land, light will come to him from the Lord and you will still see him graciously giving to those in need.
People may try to attack him, before he responds, he will ask the Lord first, “who gave the man power to attack me like this?” Then light will come to his heart, just like he will say “let him attack, maybe the rent I am believing God for, this is the insult God will hear and show me mercy” and he will keep smiling.
The man who keeps God’s word, his best scripture will likely be James 1:5, “If any man lack wisdom, let him ask….” Because he knows everything about him comes from the Lord. So whether good or evil, he wants to know from the Lord, why is this happening? The light will come to him and he will keep his peace.
Never accept unpleasant situations as a way of life and do not respond to issues as they come. Demand for light in that darkness.
Maybe you have lost your job, or a loved one or something valuable or you were cheated of that which is yours, before you begin to fight in the flesh, ask for wisdom. Ask for light in that dark situation and it shall be given you.
Do not believe Satan is so powerful and you are weak. Listen, even if you have not been praying, Satan still has no power over you. There is nothing that will ever happen that God didn’t know. If He knew, then He must have allowed it.
Light is for you to see that thing that was on God’s mind when He allowed it to happen.
Receive light now in any dark situation in your life in the name of Jesus.
